Anthony Lazaro India Tour: Find Dates, Cities, Tickets

Berlin-based Italian jazz-pop artist Anthony Lazaro has been on a 10-city debut India tour, which concludes in the coming week, with shows in Bengaluru at Koramangala Social (Dec. 29), Goa at Seven Rivers Brewing Co (Dec. 30) and New Delhi at The Piano Man, Eldeco Centre (Jan. 4).

Best known for songs like “Gravity,” “Moody Wind” and “Coffee Cup” (the Instagram Reels-famous song also had a Hindi version “Coffee Ki Pyaali” produced in collaboration with Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Utsavi Jha), Lazaro brings a laidback end to the year. A prolific artist with seven albums and six EPs in the span of five years, Lazaro released his latest album Maps and Clouds in early 2024 and the single “Morning Bus” in December, part of his upcoming album Little Earthquakes in January.

Joined by guitarist and songwriter Fedbo aka Federico Buffa, Lazaro kicked off his tour on Dec. 6 in Pune, with stops in Mumbai, Jaipur, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai so far. He said in an earlier statement, “I’ve been overwhelmed by the love and support I’ve received from India over the years. It’s always been a dream of mine to perform for my fans there, and I can’t wait to share my music and experience the incredible energy of Indian audiences.”

Midway through the tour, Lazaro took to Instagram and said, “Jaipur! Delhi! Kolkata! We loved it. Thanks to the sweet sweet audiences. We loved playing for you and we always felt at home, even in India.” For Goa, he adds that the set is for “if you want to end the year with a drop of romance.”  

The shows promise 90-minute performances by Lazaro, preceded by a 30-minute set by Fedbo. A press release adds, “The synergy between the two artists promises to deliver a rich, intimate concert experience that seamlessly blends acoustic performances with soul-stirring jazz and blues rhythms.”
