Two brands of sea and Himalayan salt are being recalled in Canada due to pieces of plastic found in the products.

“Do not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products,” the Canadian Food Inspection Agency posted on its website Thursday.

The national recall issued by Loblaw Companies Limited affects the following products:

-President’s Choice’s Mediterranean Sea Salts (360 g), with the Universal Product Code: 0 60383 97655 2

-President’s Choice’s Himalayan Pink Rock Salts (390 g), with the Universal Product Code: 0 60383 18288 5.

Both recalled products have best before dates up to Jan. 17, 2026.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency didn’t include further details, such as whether anyone got sick or injured as a result of the recall, nor did it give a description of the plastic pieces found.
